Queen Elizabeth won’t allegedly invite Prince Charles, Prince William, and the other members of the royal family to celebrate Christmas with her.

According to Woman’s Day, the monarch will be celebrating a special occasion with her husband, Prince Philip. It is also unclear if they will still head to Sandringham to celebrate or if they will just stay in Windsor Castle.

A source told the tabloid that the queen is worried about the possible risks of COVID-19. And since she and Prince Philip are already old, they are susceptible to the deadly virus.

What makes the situation worse is the fact that Prince Charles and Prince William tested positive for COVID-19. So, the queen wants to make sure that they will be the first and last two members of the royal family who will contract the virus.

The source said that the queen is devastated at the thought of celebrating Christmas with only Prince Philip by her side. But she also knows that there’s not much she can do about the situation.

Her Majesty hopes that she and her husband will still be around next year to celebrate Christmas with the royal family.

However, it is important to note that the tabloid’s claims are merely based on speculation. The queen hasn’t shared her Christmas plans to the public just yet.

While it is possible that she won’t celebrate Christmas with the royal family, to say that Prince Charles and Prince William won’t score an invite sounds like a deliberate snub. However, this isn’t the case.

Meanwhile, Prince William revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 last April earlier this month. The Duke of Cambridge refused to make a big fuss over his diagnosis because he didn’t want to draw any more attention to himself.

During his quarantine period, Prince William stayed at Anmer Hall away from his wife, Kate Middleton, as well as their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Prince Charles, on the other hand, tested positive for the deadly virus in March. Unlike Prince William, he shared his diagnosis with the rest of the world.

The father and son managed to recover from the illness before their 14-day quarantine period ended. In fact, Prince Charles and Prince William continued their royal duties indoors while they were still in recovery.

But unlike Prince Charles, Prince William experienced shortness of breath and difficulty breathing while battling COVID-19. Prince Charles didn’t exhibit the same symptoms.
