The 40-year-old Australian actress, comedienne, writer, and producer joined hands with fellow Australian Jono in her plans of losing a massive weight for this year. As per Hollywood Life, the duo started working with each other over a year ago.

And recently, trainer Jono sat for an interview where he talked about her fitness relationship with the Pitch Perfect star. Having that said, Jono revealed and explained that Rebel practices the laughter game while partaking their high-intensity interval training (HIIT).

Jono, who helped Rebel lose almost 50 pounds since they started working out, blurted out to news.com.au through an interview on Nov. 15 (Sunday) that he loves a bit of banter.

"It makes the session more enjoyable when people bounce off one another," he added. Jono then continued that their method of keeping up with the pressure makes one enjoy returning to training because most gym-goers and clients do not want to be yelled at.

"Rebel and I had a good laugh, so many laughs," Jono continued. The Rebel and Jono partnership comes five days a week, adding a day of weights and resistance training. Jono also does not forget to give Rebel a full day of rest after a pressurizing week of training.

On the other hand, Rebel recently talked about her weight loss journey in a recent interview with Drew Barrymore. In a Hello Magazine report, the actress said that the last few years is like her version of "year of fun," while last year was her "year of love." She then added that this year is her "year of health," as mentioned above.

Jono Castano Acero as a fitness trainer

Jono is the sole founder of an independent gym in Australia called ACERO. The fitness boutique sells a wide array of training products, including a personalized training session, a mixture of climb and boxing sessions, a signature ACERO Impact Class, and more.

Talking about Jono's style in training his beloved clients, he said that he focuses on balance. He then explained that balance is not all about not eating at all; it is about enjoying the treats brought by dieting.

He further added that one can still hang out with friends over good drinks and food, as long as getting back on track is the next goal a day after.
