Royal pair Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made headlines last October after they signed a mega-deal with streaming giant Netflix with the goal of creating films and shows that will showcase important topics close to the pair’s hearts.

Recently, Netflix show ‘The Crown’ has gathered much controversy after its fourth season aired last Nov. 12.

The season’s plot revolves around the much-awaited portrayal of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana’s life together.

According to Palace insiders, the depiction of the royal couple is untrue. In the series, Prince Charles is seemingly cruel to Princess Diana, which the palace has reported to be false, and Charles is actually a loving and caring husband.

Now, royal fans and even royal aides are urging Prince Harry to boycott Netflix after the unfair showcase of his parent’s torrid marital life.

Fans have taken on to social media to call out ‘The Crown’s’ creator, as well as sending Prince Harry undesirable messages.

Columnist Emily Andrew wrote in the Mail last weekend that Prince Harry should be ashamed of his association with Netflix.

“The unedifying impression is that, by having signed a deal with Netflix, Prince Harry and his former Hollywood star wife Meghan are seen to be lavishly benefiting from the company’s distortion of the truth about the Royal Family,” Andrew writes in her report.

She further writes on how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to work with Netflix when they have constantly traduced the royal family’s name.

Apparently, royal members are questioning Prince Harry’s decision and are quizzical about the real goal of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

‘The Crown’ has been slammed by many fans of the show for depicting inaccurate stories of the royal family in the new season.

Upon the announcement of this season’s plot, it has already gathered major traction after it was revealed that they would show Princess Diana’s struggle with Bulimia, a very sensitive topic for the royal firm.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still together with Netflix and are working on several projects. An animated show produced by the couple is already in the early stages of production and will speak on Women empowerment.

There have been no comments from the Sussex’s side regarding Netflix ‘The Crowns’ newest season, and it is unlikely that Prince Harry will back out on the deal with the streaming giant.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s payout from Netflix was, reportedly, $150 million.
