The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's good deeds are not sitting well with some people.

But it has nothing to do with what they're doing but the charity they are doing it for. Prince Harry and Meghan found out the drivers of Project Angel Food have become overwhelmed with their tasks during this pandemic. So the couple offered to help and delivered some meals to the people who are sick and vulnerable to the virus. But apparently, the charity was founded by Marianne Williamson. She is an American author, politician, and activist.

According to Express UK, she is quite controversial and known for some of her opinions and positions on many issues. She is also said to be a friend to Meghan's mom, Doris Ragland. She tried to campaign to be the Democratic nominee for President, but she failed and went on to endorse Bernie Sanders. She serves as a trustee for Project Angel Food now and it seems that despite opposing views on some issues, the couple will still continue to work with the charity.

While they have always worked with different charities while they still had big roles in the royal family, Harry and Meghan may have been trying to get better publicity with this news of volunteering for Project Angel Food. There are reports that Meghan is getting ready to release a tell-all biography and news of her generosity will surely drum up great publicity. But their choice of charity may have backfired.

Nonetheless, the couple seems keen on continuing to deliver meals to the needy. After all, their plans to launch their won brand had to be put on hold. In their last post on their Sussex Royal Instagram page, they told their more than 11 million followers that while they are looking forward to the new chapter in their lives, what is important now is the coronavirus pandemic and ensuring that people will be safe.

The couple planned to launch their brand, Archewell, which seemed to actually inspire their name for their firstborn child. But because of the virus wreaking havoc all over the world, they have decided to push back the plans and concentrate on the issues that are important right now.

They are also taking their time enjoying their newfound freedom. They are getting ready to celebrate Archie's first birthday, which will unfortunately not include the rest of the royal family as they cannot leave the US to go back to the UK.
