Vince Vaughn confirmed that he and his former co-star of Wedding Crashers, Owen Wilson are down for the sequel. Yes, the popular romantic comedy fans will soon get a treat from the franchise as the 50-year-old actor opened up about the reprising characters.

In an interview with Rachel Smith, the actor revealed on Oct. 4 that he and the 51-year-old co-star is considering to work on the 2005 film's sequel. Since the news broke, fans seem excited on social media about the duo teaming up.

The actor said that both the actors and the director, David Dobkin, took the sequel seriously and now talked about the execution. He further said that there is an idea which they all have liked it, but it is on the initial stage and they are still talking about it.

Wilson portrayed John Beckwith and Vaughn portrayed Jeremy Grey in the film who acted as a third party between the married couple and most of the time, they used to crash receptions to meet ladies and free booze.

Other popular actors in the film were Isla Fisher, who played Gloria Cleary and Rachel McAdams, who played Claire Cleary's character. However, there is no confirmation of them reprising their characters in the sequel so far.

Vaughn recalled that the filming of Wedding Crashers was fun, including other movies such as Zoolander and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. He admitted that he feels great to work with people who are funny in real while also being able to make others laugh through their craft.

The actor also opened up about his latest release, Freaky. The horror comedy film features Kathryn Newton, who portrays a 17-year-old girl whose body gets switched with a serial killer through an ancient and mystical dagger. The actor praised the 23-year-old actress saying that it was fun building each other's character for the film.

"She came with such good ideas, we had a rehearsal period where we were kind of finding the physicality of each character so there'd be cohesiveness," he added. He said that the physical fighting was ridiculous.

However, they both were committed to their characters and at times, they used to improvise their lines and play around. He explained how it all seemed like a roller coaster to him, while Newton also praised the actor by sharing her experience working with him. She recalled they first met during dance rehearsals.
