The official website has unveiled the synopsis for Akudama Drive Episode 5. The summary of the episode suggests that the real mission for the Akudama will start now.

The last episode shows Black Cat ordering Akudama members to open the vault as they don’t have much choice left.

Ordinary Person, Hacker, and Black Cat reach the second carriage and it is the security room. Hacker notes that it is time to face the big boss. Meanwhile, Brawler is battling against one of the Executioners. The Executioner stabs Brawler with a sword but the latter gets hold of him.

Things change in favor of the Akudama gang when Courier blasts his way through and enters with his beloved and powerful bike.

Courier fires a beam and separates the two coaches, getting rid of the Executioners. Meanwhile, the Shinkansen will reach its destination in three minutes and time is running out for Black Cat and its comrades.

They finally made it to the Vault Car or Carriage One. Black Cat tells Hacker to open the vault. Hacker announces that the vault needs a seal to open and they need a special one for this job.

Brawler suggests that he can break the vault with his bare hands. Time is running out for them. Ordinary Person is panicking and Black Cat announces that it is the final piece to open the vault. The Black Cat starts to fade away and what is left behind is a seal.

As soon as they open the vault, they see a young boy and a young girl. The boy thanks them for a job well done. The new episode releasing this week will address the mystery behind the children in the vault and the next part of the mission begins.
