A report claimed last year that Britney Spears’ hair was in poor condition. The songstress has been clean-headed in the past, but reports have it that she had no option but to lose her hair. After all, her hair has been subjected to excessive dyes and bleaching, according to the magazine. Here is the complete story!

The songstress seems to have spoilt her hair after subjecting it to excessive harsh chemicals. At least, that is what a tabloid claimed last year. An unnamed source told them that her hair is in such a pathetic condition that she may have to wear a wig soon.

According to the same source, the pop star has been coloring her hair with a specific blonde shade, which has been the undoing. Her hair follicles have been, allegedly, damaged because of this.

She has often switched on between platinum blond and a light brunette hair color, which has spoilt her hair completely, the same insider insisted. The source even had a few hair tips for the pop star.

The tipster feels that it is time for her to say no to the hairdryer and properly condition her hair. The source added that she should choose a hair color and then stick to that.

However, the story's premise seems to be faulty as it was entirely based on the songstress switching between blond to brunette and again to blond within a short period.

The dye can deteriorate the quality of one’s hair, making it brittle; it does not affect hair growth. While there could be a slight hair loss in extreme situations, there is hardly any threat of a person going bald because of it.

A major part of this article is dedicated to slamming Britney Spears’ past behavior instead of delving more into her health status. The songstress’ locks do not look like getting damaged, contrary to what the report insinuated, Gossip Cop reports.

While there could be a change in her legal status, it does not mean her the condition of her hair has also changed. The pop star’s dad, Jamie Spears, has been her conservator ever since her high-profile and much-publicized breakdown around 12 years ago.

She had to be hospitalized after that infamous incident and even went to rehab. There have been reports surrounding the singer’s battle against her mental health since 2007. However, that has never affected her singing career, HarpersBAZAAR.com reported.

Meanwhile, Britney Spears wishes her fans and admirers to know that there is no threat to her safety and well-being. The "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker took to Instagram on Monday to post a video where she gave an update about her wellbeing to her social media fans, People Magazine reports.
