Taichi and the others will face a major obstacle in Digimon Adventure Episode 23. The new episode is titled The Messenger of Darkness, Devimon.

The new and transformed Devimon emerges as bad news for Taichi and his friends. The official preview trailer for Digimon Adventure Episode 23 shares a glimpse of Devimon and it is nothing short of, terrifying.

“Devimon’s next evolution puts Taichi and the others in peril! Will Koshiro’s clever plan make it in time?! Next time on Digimon Adventure: The Messenger of Darkness, Devimon,” reads the text from the trailer for the new Digimon Adventure episode.

Meanwhile, Twitter user Wikimon has translated and tweeted the synopsis for Digimon Adventure Episode 23. According to the synopsis, after the collapse of the Digimon castle, Yamato and Taichi are up against one of the most dangerous opponents named Devimon.

Devimon’s attacks remain unpredictable and Taichi and company are unable to inflict any damage to this dangerous villain.

In the meantime, Koshiro, Sora, and the others, who are trying their best to stop the tanker from crashing into the land, learn a shocking truth.

In Digimon Adventure Episode 23, the mess in the Digital Space caused by the tanker going berserk is giving astonishing powers to Devimon.

Later, in the upcoming episode, Devimon evolves into a new and evil form right in front of Yamato and Taichi. Devimon’s evolved form is called Neo Devimon. Can Taichi and his comrades devise a plan to take down this formidable villain?

In the last episode of Digimon Adventure, Takeru guides Yamato, Taichi, and the others inside the castle, as he was the one who was able to summon the Digimon castle out of the miasma swamp.

Yamato asks how he is able to navigate inside this unknown castle. Takeru answers that a voice is calling him and he is just following the voice.

Digimon Adventure Episode 23 is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, at 7 p.m. ET.
