Taichi and his comrades are desperately following Skull Knightmon in an attempt to retrieve the Digitama of the Holy Digimon. In Digimon Adventure Episode 22, the heroes are striving to defeat Skull Knightmon at all costs.

Twitter user Wikimon translated the official synopsis for Digimon Adventure Episode 22. The synopsis teases that Taichi and company defeat Splashmon in the upcoming episode and enter the castle.

Taichi and the others will later enter the castle placed on top of El Doradimon’s back, whose body is submerged in the miasma swamp. Meanwhile, Skull Knightmon will drop the precious Digitama in the well made of miasma.

Can Skull Knightmon take over the Holy Digimon? It will be interesting to witness Taichi and his friends' next move.

In the last installment, Skull Knightmon gets his hands on the Digitama and runs away with it. Taichi and the others rush to find the missing Digitama.

The quest takes the heroes into the swamps as they witness a giant tower from a distance.

As they pass through the gloopy swamp, they are confronted by a ferocious-looking Splashmon. This Digimon guards the tower where Skull Knightmon lives.

A battle begins between Splashmon and the heroes.

Splashmon proves to be too powerful and toward the second half of the episode Metalgreymon takes on Splashmon.

Metalgreymon powers up again and charges at Splashmon. With a powerful blow, Splashmon is defeated.

It is revealed that Metalgreymon overcame the poison of miasma and turned it into new power. Toward the end of the episode, El Doradimon emerges out of the swamp, and Taichi and his comrades figure out a way to enter the tower.

They learn that they need to pass through El Doradimon’s body to enter the castle. Meanwhile, the threat of Algomon is evolving and it is dangerous for Sora and others. Calamaromon is controlling Algomon and it is becoming a big problem.

Sora reveals that they are trying to crash the tanker into the city.
