Portia de Rossi, allegedly, accused Ellen DeGeneres of copying her hairstyle.

According to Star, eagle-eyed fans immediately noticed the similarity of DeGeneres’ new hairstyle with her wife. And the tabloid claimed that de Rossi felt that DeGeneres stole her look.

It is unclear where this statement came from because de Rossi hasn’t publicly reacted to her wife’s new hairstyle. As such, it’s unlikely for her to have accused the comedian of copying her look.

A source told the tabloid that DeGeneres asked the opinion of experts before getting a haircut because her goal was to seem cool and relatable. She also, reportedly, asked top stylists and weighed in everyone’s opinion.

The insider claimed that the funny woman also remembered how de Rossi was praised by those that saw her hairstyle. As such, she also wanted to get the same compliments from her fans.

During an episode of Ellen Show last year, the comedian shared her hair mishap story after getting her hair dyed. She said that the color just didn’t suit her and the process also resulted in her losing chunks of hair.

DeGeneres joked that her hair must have felt embarrassed that's why it didn't want to have anything to do with her anymore. 

Meanwhile, National Enquirer said that DeGeneres’ hair is the only thing that’s been sticking up for the comedian. After all, even though her hair is on a high, the ratings for Ellen Show are still very low.

According to reports, the ratings for Ellen Show have been at its all-time low compared to all the previous seasons of the talk show.

There was a slight increase in ratings during the premiere episode because DeGeneres addressed the toxic work environment claims from last summer.

But following the premiere episode, the ratings for Ellen Show never recovered. In an attempt to salvage the program, Ellen Show welcomes 40 live audiences again on the set of the talk show this week.

According to Variety, safety measures and protocols will be employed ahead of and during the filming. If everything goes as planned, DeGeneres will continue to have 40 live guests on set for Halloween and for the highly-anticipated 12 Days of Giveaways segment next month.

As of late, there is still no confirmation with regards to DeGeneres’ live celebrity guests on Ellen Show. The majority of her guests this season were interviewed virtually by de Rossi’s wife.
