While there are celebrities who are ready to surprise their fans with their work on big screens, there are stars like Paul Rudd who surprised people on the streets of New York. Yes, several celebs are going out of their way to promote early voting during the 2020 election and it seems that the 51-year-old actor took it next level.

The Ant-Man and the Wasp star recently hit the streets of New York to give away a sweet gift for standing in the queue to vote, even though it was raining. There were pictures and videos circulated on social media in which the actor could be seen handing over cookies to New Yorkers at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as they were waiting in rain to cast their votes.

One of the Twitter users, who turned out to be Brian Rosenworcel posted a 17 seconds long video of the actor giving away the cookies on Oct. 29 while he covered his face with a mask and donned a raincoat with a hat.

Rosenworcel is a drummer by profession per CNN, who captioned the video and confirmed that while he is voting in Brooklyn, the actor is distributing cookies. The video got more than three million views within 24 hours and the actor could be heard saying thank you to everyone for coming out and doing their part to vote.

Another user clicked a selfie with the Best Guest Performer winner at Critics' Choice Television Awards and captioned the image informing that Rudd handed cookies to the voters who were standing in the rain at Barclay's Center.

Rudd gave away blueberry-and-cream cookies to people who stepped out early to vote. The actor spends time with the people, who lined up despite the rain and doing their part. The cookies were given after the person left the voting polls.

Barclays Center's official Twitter handle also tweeted to appreciate Rudd's gesture and praised the actor with screenshots of him spending time with voters.

The actor has been actively participating in public service as last month he encouraged fans to put a mask on through an official announcement. This is one of the rare elections in America when the citizens are choosing to vote early.

As per the election officials survey, more than 75 million people have already cast their votes before the final day of the election that is Nov. 3. Oregon, Colorado, Washington state, and Montana became the top states to receive the highest percentage of voting before the due date.
