Check out what Ariana Grande revealed to Vogue

In an article published by Vogue in July 2019, Grande spoke about her relationship with Davidson. She met Davidson during her, and her friends' decamp to New York following the haze of her breakup with the late Mac Miller.

According to Grande, having met Davidson was a fantastic distraction and described their relationship as frivolous, fun, insane, and highly unrealistic. She admits to having loved him although she doesn't know him.

Insider reported that both Grande and Davidson redefined the idea of a "rebound relationship." Considering the split both had from longtime partners and just 24 days, reports claimed that they were "casually dating" and later confirmed they're engaged and are living together. In less than five months, both have called it quits.

However, Davidson shared his side of the story about his relationship with Grande in a deeply personal interview with Charlamagne Tha God. He confessed that he realized the relationship was over when Mac Miller passed away.

He also recalls telling Grande that he'll stick around until she does not want him to be around. Davidson admits to knowing that Grande did love Miller.

According to a report in Showbiz CheatSheet, during Davidson's new Netflix stand up special, he hinted that their break up was unfair. Grande was named Billboard's Woman of the Year for her hit song Thank U, Next, which was about him while he was publicly mocked.

From the same source, Grande showed no ill feelings about Davidson even after what he had to say during his Netflix special. She instead expressed her appreciation to Davidson for his honesty.

An insider told Hollywood Life that both understand that the relationship they had was amazing but unfortunately happened at the wrong time, and it was just not right to continue.

They are in different places in their individual lives now, and being friends with each other needs to be. The insider stressed out that Grande was not upset by what he said.

She is happy to hear that he seems to be learning from it all and maturing from it as well. Grande will always support him because she knows the real him and where he is coming from.
