While birthday parties are something friends remember for good reasons, Cecily Strong has a different story to tell about Pete Davidson’s birthday bash. The 36-year-old actress recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she opened up about her spooky experience at her Saturday Night Live co-star's birthday party.

The David S. Pumpkins Halloween Special star made it clear during the video call with host Kelly Clarkson that she isn't fond of spooky party themes. Strong had an intense conversation with the 38-year-old host about getting spooked, the season of frightening others, and Halloween.

The actress recalled when she was in New Jersey at Six Flags to attend Fright Fest. Strong disclosed she reached the place to celebrate the 26-year-old comedian's birthday and eventually, it made her upset. Strong explained that the Fright Fest performers were trying to scare people all of sudden in the park, which was labeled as a safe zone.

She explained that she remembers yelling at those performers to stop scaring people who are in the safe zone. However, she admitted that they still do and that made her feel terrified. During the interview, she also displayed a picture of that fest in which she clearly looked like not having a good time.

Her facial expressions were enough to show how pissed she got with people dressed up in monsters and ghouls’ costumes around. Besides the nightmare she had at the birthday party, she also opened up about her earlier days in the industry as a teenager.

The actress spoke about one of the commercials she did at the age of 10 for McDonald’s ice cream. Although she seemed confused about why the commercial didn't make it on air as she licked the ice cream's cone.

Moreover, she recalled another commercial she performed regarding anti-smoking. The actress revealed that the ad was shot for the Illinois Department of Public Health at the age of 16. However, it turned out to be a full circle for the Emmy nominated actress when she performed another anti-smoking commercial through Saturday Night Live.

The actress noted that this commercial was aired on national television, which made her felt content. Strong also shed light on her appearance on Saturday Night Live for a Halloween theme episode while she is not present in New York City. However, she revealed that the ongoing pandemic had destroyed the schedules of many production houses.
