Jeff Bridges revealed that he has lymphoma cancer. The 70-year-old actor took social media to disclosed his diagnoses on Oct. 19 and shared details about the serious disease. The actor wrote on Twitter and Instagram that this is the new s--t that has come into the spotlight after several years.

The actor referred to his movie, The Big Lebowski, while addressing the health issue. Bridges disclosed that he has been dealing with Lymphoma cancer and even though the disease seems to be pretty serious, he is grateful and fortunate to have the best doctors around him.

While he praised the great team of medical staff, he said that "prognosis is good." The actor stated that he will start his treatment from now onwards and keep his fans and followers posted regarding his health and recovery status.

“I’m profoundly grateful for the love and support of my family and friends. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes," the actor continued. While the actor thanked everyone for their support, he took the opportunity of the attention he had and asked people to vote.

The Hell or High Water star requested to vote and gave the reason that everyone is together in this. Moreover, he shared the voting website link, vote.org to encourage and remind everybody to vote. Lymphoma is basically a type of cancer, which causes night sweats, loss of appetite, and fatigue.

It might also show signs of shortness of breath or weight loss. However, the actor didn't disclose what kind of lymphoma he is diagnosed with, but the actor has already begun his treatment. Once the news broke about the diagnoses, many popular celebrities came forward to show their concern and send love to the actor.

Patricia Arquette responded to the tweet and wished for quick healing while her sister, Rosanna Arquette, sent love to the actor and his whole family. The 61-year-old actress further wrote that she is sure the actor will be alright soon and get through these difficult times.

Kathy Griffin also took social media to support the actor. The 59-year-old comedian wrote that she hopes the actor gets everything he wants and everything he needs at this moment while sending him best wishes.

The Desperate Housewives fame, Dana Delaney, also responded and said that she believes the actor will get through this successfully. At the same time, Sean Maguire also said that everyone on this planet is supporting Bridges.
