Jamie Lynn Spears recalled how she had to face the media and public following her pregnancy announcement at the age of 16. The 29-year-old actress opened up about the critical observation she went through during her teenage and how she escaped the attention.

The Jamie Lynn Spears: When the Lights Go Out star revealed that after she announced back in 2007 about her pregnancy, the actress had to face many ruthless headlines. The actress shares her first daughter, Maddie Briann Aldridge, with her ex-partner, Casey Aldridge.

The actress explained that she was in high school and like any other teenage girl, even she thought that this is love. Spears admitted that she thought it is going to stay forever and soon, she realized being pregnant.

She explained that she didn't care about other outlets and what headlines they are making out of it. However, she was aware that her parents and family are the people who love and care about her and she is answerable to them.

Spears acknowledged that there was a life growing inside her while she is very young. The actress said that she was well-aware that even she was a little kid at that time. The actress further said that she didn't really get bothered by any other thing but following the announcement of her pregnancy, she hid.

Spears disclosed that she didn't keep a phone with her during that time but paparazzi reached out to her anyway. The actress said that she wasn't roaming around on the streets of Los Angeles to get the spotlight from paparazzi; instead, she was in Mississippi.

Fast forward today, the actress is a mother of two as she shares one more daughter with her husband, Jamie Watson. The couple got married back in 2014 and their daughter, Ivey Joan, turned two-year-old. The actress said that she completely isolated herself from socializing to stay away from the spotlight when she gave birth to her first baby.

Spears revealed that she got herself a little house, but she ensured that the house's gate is really huge to keep her privacy intact. Moreover, she wanted to figure out things and raise her daughter because she believed it was her who put herself into this circumstance. While the actress said that she doesn't condone or says whatever she did was right, she had to give her best to raise her daughter.
