While the world knows Leonardo DiCaprio as a versatile and experienced actor, he is still nervous while acting in films.

The Oscar Award-winning actor shared in an interview why making films make him shaky to date. The actor has over three decades of experience in the film industry. 

 

He has been a part of several big and popular films, including Inception and Titanic. The latter made a business of more than $2 billion globally, Box Office Mojo reports.

 

The Titanic star has incredible mass popularity and critics swear by him. DiCaprio has won one Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. After his scintillating performance in a film called The Revenant, he won an Oscar in the Best Actor category. 

 

DiCaprio has emerged as one of the most sought after and bankable actors in Hollywood. He has created a niche for himself through his extraordinary performances and box office successes. 

 

There is no doubt that his success has given him strong confidence. He has stopped bothering about critics and do not allow their views to affect him. 

 

He said in an interview that he always tried to be the finest actor. However, whether he could accomplish that or not is for the critics and his viewers to decide. 

 

He has no power in determining their decisions and that is one thing about films, which is scary, as well as thrilling for him. Leonardo DiCaprio feels that actors can give their best, work hard, but audiences can still feel disconnected from a film.

 

Although the actor accepts he does not have any power over a film’s fate, he mentions that he does everything possible to make sure that his movie is a success. An actor can go to set and give his or her 100 percent and DiCaprio does that for all his films. 

 

Many people regard him as one of the finest acting stars of his generation and even one of the all-time best. The actor’s powerful command over the box office and his strong performances are proof of that. However, the actor has always been humble and claims that he is not “elite.”

 

Though DiCaprio is a superstar in Hollywood, he was shaky while portraying the character of Jay Gatsby in the film called The Great Gatsby. He said while promoting the film that everyone had a lot of expectations from it. 

 

Nevertheless, Leonardo DiCaprio had nothing to be nervous about as the box office result of the film would show. The film did more than $353 million business worldwide, Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports.
