Cardi B shocked her fans and Twitter followers when she deactivated her Twitter account. Her decision to stop using the social media platform is attributed to the backlash she has been facing on Twitter for reconciling with her husband Offset.

The 28-year-old rapper previously filed for divorce from Kiari Kendrell Cephus, who is professionally known as Offset, in September. But last week, she revealed that she had reconciled with her husband. During an appearance on Instagram Live, the singer had said she was tired of people complaining to her about her relationship with the rapper, Mirror reported.

She opened up about teenagers giving her advice on how to live her life, saying she was tired of being treated as if she came from Disney or like she's Ariana Grande. The "Bodak Yellow" songstress went on to say that she was tired of having to continuously explain herself.

Cardi B (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) also noted that she was not the one who made her divorce public, but a court clerk announced it, adding that people are making all sorts of rumors up as if they were in charge of addressing all her issues. Furthermore, the singer slammed trollers on Twitter, who even attacked Offset, DailyMail reported.

The  "Girls Like You"  hitmaker explained that she was capable of working things out and her Twitter followers didn't need to harass Offset on his Twitter account. Giving an example, she said even if she is spotted smoking a cigarette, people assume she is smoking it because she is stressed about her divorce with Offset.

She explained, saying she has smoking cigarettes since she was 15. The Grammy winner blasted her online trollers for calling themselves her fans. Cardi B said she'd be doing what other people do, but then they call themselves as her fans, adding that she no longer cared and was tired of it.

The  "I Like It" songstress also noted that her online tormenters even harassed her best friend Ashanti on Twitter, noting that nobody needs to do anything and she can do whatever she wants. She admitted that she loves her fans and is grateful for everything they do, but some of them act as if they have the right to make decisions on her behalf.

Cardi revealed earlier this week why it was hard for her to go through her divorce filing. He said it was hard for her to not talk to Offset, who also is her best friend, and noted that she began to miss him. She was first linked to the rapper back in 2017.
