Allegedly, Brad Pitt is scared of his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, that he thinks sending her to jail is the only way that he could get custody of their kids.

According to National Enquirer, Pitt is scared of Jolie; that’s why he doesn’t want to be around her. And the only time that Pitt would agree to spend time with Jolie in the same room is if they also have other witnesses around.

A source told the tabloid that things have become so bad between Pitt and Jolie that they’ve been exchanging threats with each other. The Ad Astra star is, allegedly, threatening to hit his ex-wife with harassment charges.

New Idea was first to publish the dubious claims about Pitt and Jolie last week. The tabloid claimed that Pitt wouldn’t have any problem dragging Jolie to jail if she abuses him or shouts at him in any way.

But despite the ongoing tensions between the A-listers, the tabloid said that they are still left with no other choice but to come to an agreement for their kids' sake.

However, Gossip Cop has debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that Pitt isn’t sending Jolie to jail. And there is no proof that the actor wants to see Jolie in jail even though they couldn’t reach an agreement over the custody of their kids.

Even though Pitt and Jolie couldn’t agree on the custody of their kids, they still have the same goal, which is to give their children a happy but private life. This is also the very reason why the exes’ court hearing will be kept private and no details will be released to the press except through their lawyers.

Earlier this month, Us Weekly revealed that Pitt wants 50/50 joint legal and physical custody of his kids. However, Jolie wants full custody of her five minor children.

A source said that the only time that the Maleficent star would agree to give Pitt 50/50 custody of their kids is if he allows them to relocate abroad.

However, this arrangement wouldn’t make much sense for Pitt because this means that his kids would be away from him even if he has 50/50 custody.

As such, it would be best to take the tabloid's claims with a grain of salt because they are merely based on hearsay.
