Queen’s iconic "We Are The Champions" is meant for winners, indeed. Over time, the booster song has emerged to be one of the sports anthems. Whether be it cricket, football, or the fiery finals of NBA – "We Are The Champions" provides the beats and lyrics that are fit for all occasions – and Rihanna knows it fairly well.

The Los Angeles Lakers boys have written the history with a tremendous overall performance in the final match with Miami Heat. The fact that LA Lakers emerged victorious has delighted many, but Rihanna’s way of celebration is standing out.

It’s not so because she is an extremely popular celebrity, many of the Lakers fans are big celebrities – it’s just that she chose "We Are The Champions" to show her energy and enthusiasm as the best 11 of NBA lifted the trophy.

The “We Found Love” singer put on display her love for the team that’s arguably the most loved of all. She donned the signature LA Lakers jersey with a matching Lakers cap on the top of her head as she hoisted in the air a set of gold and purple (Lakers colors) balloons in the air in the wake of their huge victory in the NBA finals championship over Miami Heat.

Taking to Instagram, RiRi shared a video for her followers in which she is joined by her best friend and longtime assistant Jennifer Rosales to belt out “We Are The Champions” as the part of party after victory.

Carrying pom-poms in her hand, the "Wild Thoughts" singer did much more than just singing – something that one would expect a true fan to do. The singer ridiculed the opponent team saying that there is “no time for losers.”

Besides that, RiRi also wrote that Lakers are the champions, Kobe [Bryant] is proud, LeBron [James] is the king – and thanked the big guy Anthony Davis for his relentless performance.

This is not the first time that Rihanna has shown her enormous support for the Lakers. As a matter of fact, the Grammy winner has been a Lakers stan probably for as long as she has been a celebrity.

Rihanna attended a good NBA game last year in February alongside her ex-boyfriend Hassan Jameel – and yes of course she was supporting the Lakers. In stands enchanting with the crowd for Lakers and wearing a Lakers jersey to leave no space for doubts - Rihanna has got what it needs to be a fan.
