The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have landed themselves in another scandal after it was revealed that the two are the least eco-friendly royals revealed on a survey.

SaveON Energy evaluated the carbon footprint of the royal family between the dates of March 2019 to March 2020.

The survey ranked the royal through a point system, awarding the royals points on how low their carbon footprint was during their official engagements.

According to SaveON Energy, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were the least eco-friendly royal members between the months of March 2019 up to their exit from the royal firm.

The two only scored eight points each, which was a massive difference from Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles.

SaveON Energy revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal tour to South Africa had a massive carbon footprint that it actually compared to a British person’s carbon footprint emitted in a year.

The couple also made several trips using private jets, which gotten the two in trouble. Harry and Meghan Markle were both branded as hypocrites due to this survey.

Harry and Meghan Markle have heavily preached about climate change, yet the two have only been preaching it and no actions were commissioned by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Unlike Prince Charles, who gathered 256 points and was awarded as the eco-friendliest royal. It was found that Prince Charles's actions against climate change and global warming were most potent of all.

Camilla Parker-Bowles, the wife of Prince Charles, also came in as the second eco-friendliest royal, getting 84 points from the survey.

The Cambridge’s came in 3rd and 4th respectively and last on the list was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with both having 18 points.

This also comes as a punch to the couple after it was revealed that they were the royal members who had the biggest cost in the royal family.

Almost $250 million was spent for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s South African royal tour, making it the most expensive royal tour in March 2019 to March 2020.

The couple was heavily criticized regarding these costs, with many UK citizens pointing out that a bulk of their budget was taken from Prince Charles’s Duchy, The Duch of Cornwall.

Many of the royal fans are also urging Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to payback Prince Charles.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently living in Santa Barbara, California, in their $14.7 million estate.
