Brad Pitt is hoping that the courts act as an intermediary when it comes to his ongoing custody battle with ex Angelina Jolie. A hearing is slated to take place on Monday, with Pitt's request for equal joint custody being one of the points to be discussed.
A source familiar with the situation told ET that Pitt is urging the courts to put 50/50 custody in place and ensure it stays in place. Jolie doesn't wish to be unfair when it comes to custody and is very organized when it comes to the children.
The Ocean's Thirteen star hopes that they can help him bring this to fruition, citing the importance of co-parenting. Pitt and Jolie had initially reached a custody agreement back in Nov. 2018, but their agreement faltered when they failed to reach an accord in terms of the private judge they would invite to adjudicate in their divorce case.
