The latest season of Netflix’s ‘The Crown’ has gathered much hype as several photos and trailers of the popular TV series have been released over the course of the last months.

The new season, which will tackle the early years of the marriage of Prince Charles, Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spence has been creating a major buzz with the fans of the show.

Now, actress Emma Corrin who plays the young Princess Diana in ‘The Crown’ has uploaded a photo of her in a replica of the Princess of Wales Wedding gown.

Corrin captioned the photo with ‘Tick tock tick tock 15.11.20’, the release date of ‘The Crown’ season 4 on Netflix.

Fans of the TV series went wild with the photo Emma Corrin uploaded on her Instagram. This was also shared by TheCrown’s official Instagram account.

The new season of ‘The Crown’ has created great traction amongst TV watchers as it will tackle some of the most tabooed topics in British royal history.

One of these is Princess Diana’s eating disorder, which was well hidden at first by the Princess herself. Later in the years with the royal institution rumors of the princess’s eating disorder were confirmed, revealing that Princess Diana has been suffering from bulimia.

‘The Crown’ season 4 will also depict the deteriorating marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana and Prince Charles’s ongoing love affair with first love, Camilla Parker-Bowles.

In an interview with ‘The Crown’ Creator, Peter Morgan talked about the depiction of Princess Diana and her eating disorder in the show.

Morgan explained that Diana’s own suffering was what made here very compassionate with other people.

He believed that Princess Diana’s ability to show her vulnerability, ‘to wear it on her sleeves’ was the exact opposite of the British royalty, but that is what made her the People’s princess.

Emma Corrin will play the young Princess Diana in the show but will be replaced by actress Elizabeth Debicki in the later years of Princess Diana up to her divorce with Prince Charles, and untimely death in Paris.

Other stars who will reprise their roles are as follows, Olivia Colman as the Queen in the new episodes, along with Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, Erin Doherty as Princess Anne, Marion Bailey as Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and lastly Charles Dance as Lord Louis Mountbatten.
