Meghan Markle has reportedly hinted about having another baby with Prince Harry.

A close friend of the Duchess of Sussex revealed to New Idea how Markle joked about wanting her 11-month-old son Archie to have a friend other than their dog.

“She joked that he needs a pint-size little buddy other than the dogs,” Markle’s pal said.

The friend also shared how Prince Harry’s wife would light up every time she talks about Archie. Markle described her adorable son as a bundle of energy. She also said that Archie prefers playing oversleeping.

“[Archie is] fascinated with his mini-instruments and likes banging on whatever he can. He also likes it when daddy teases him and plays the harmonica. He thinks it's funny. She said Archie is quite the character and loves to laugh. That he's a happy baby,” the source said.

Meanwhile, rumors about Markle’s pregnancy have been rife throughout the past couple of months.

OK! magazine also claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is expecting her second child with Prince Harry at the end of the year. A source told the tabloid that becoming parents has brought the royal couple so much joy that they want to expand their family as soon as possible.

On Twitter, some royal fans have also shared their thoughts regarding Markle’s alleged pregnancy. One of them even congratulated the Duchess of Sussex even though there has not been any confirmation that she’s expecting.

Earlier this month, royal commentator Charlie Lankston told Access that Prince Harry and Markle are hoping to have a second child. However, the royal couple are not rushing into anything.

“Baby Archie experienced a lot of upheaval in his first 10 months of life, he’s moved to many different places. His parents have gone through a major transition,” he said.

The royal expert also said that Prince Harry and Markle want to get their lives in good order and to settle into their new home and their new routine before they could plan to have another baby.

Lankston said that at the end of the day, Markle’s second pregnancy will be welcomed news for everyone. And regardless if her and Prince Harry’s second child is a boy or a girl, it will be fine as long as it’s healthy.

Prince Harry and Markle welcomed their first child on May 6, 2019. They will be celebrating in the United States away from the royal family due to the coronavirus pandemic.
