Reality TV stars Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner still get pieces of advice from the elders including Kathie Lee Gifford, their godmother.

The TV presenter appeared on Watch What Happens Live and was in conversation with Andy Cohen. Gifford had some words of wisdom for these two celeb goddaughters of hers.

She met the girls’ mom Kris Jenner in the seventies while she resided in California. The presenter mentioned that they soon became the best of friends.

Gifford opened up to People Magazine in 2019 and told that Kris and she used to go together for their Bible study. It was a time when she was married to Robert Kardashian and her kids were very young. They became extremely close pals.

Gifford added that even when the Kardashians were not famous, celebrities would keep visiting their home. She jested that it was like an “insane” environment at Jenner’s place.

The TV presenter also acknowledged that she did not get to spend a lot of time with the 24-year-old Kendall Jenner and her 23-year-old sister Kylie Jenner ever since she relocated from California. The Jenner sisters were very little then.

Yet, she had some sensible pieces of advice for her two lovely goddaughters. For instance, she would advise them to be “close to God” and there are occasions when they do so.

She also told Cohen on the chat show that she would also suggest them, to be honest to themselves. It is something she would advise anybody for that matter.

Kathie Lee Gifford also commented that one has to be always humble. She feels it is crucial to stay grounded even when the person has become an international celebrity.

The media personality said after all they were neither affluent nor superstars when they were born. They were simply the kids of her dear friend. She feels that is what all celebs are; just normal people at the end of the day.

While Gifford is unable to meet her two goddaughters regularly, it is evident that she is extremely fond of the Jenner sisters. The former star of Today Show commented on how there can be disastrous outcomes when celebs are erroneously idolized.

Gifford feels sad and worried about all those people who are okay with compromising their well-being simply to become famous. She feels the society is crazy for celebrities and they are placed on high pedestals. Something she is not quite fond of.

The final season of their reality TV series Keeping Up with the Kardashians will be aired in 2021. Both Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner might have more spare time staying out of the spotlight, Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports.
