Francis Coppola’s ‘The Godfather’ has been dubbed as one of the greatest films made in the history of Hollywood. With an exceptional script and cast, as well as a production team, ‘The Godfather’ was an easy blockbuster hit.

After decades from its release, the history of the making of ‘The Godfather’ will soon be put to the screen.

Movies such as ‘The Godfather’ are often revered for its amazing script and casting, no movie in Hollywood will ever make it big if the script is off and the casting is not on point.

The drama in front of the camera was no short of amazing, but what happened behind the camera is equally as riveting as the movie being made.

Recently, Deadline revealed that the movies ‘Francis and The Godfather’ will soon start its production. The movie follows the production team of ‘The Godfather’ and how they came up with one of the most legendary films in Hollywood.

Stars who will be playing a major role in the film have also been revealed.

Jake Gyllenhall is said to be playing film producer Robert Evans, and ‘Star Wars’ actor Oscar Isaac will be portraying the legendary film director Francis Ford Coppola.

‘Francis and The Godfather’ will also be directed by none other than legendary Barry Levinson. Mr. Levinson has brought some of the greatest films in recent years into theaters, films such as Rain Man, and Good Morning, Vietnam.

Already, the movies are getting some positive traction from critics who can’t wait to watch the film.

Francis Ford Coppola was interviewed by Deadline, where he was asked whether he was alright having Barry Levinson direct the movie.

Mr. Coppola excitedly agreed with the choice of director for the film, praising Barry Levinson for creating artwork in films.

Ford Coppola also talked about the many adversities with the producers, as well as, the director had to go through to create ‘The Godfather’.

A movie based on Mario Puzo’s book, there were some major changes made on the film by Coppola to make it more enthralling.

One of these major changes was the location of the movie. In the book, the family in ‘The Godfather’ was based in Kansas but Coppola urged produce, Robert Evans to transfer the set to New York rather than Kansas.

These are only a few of the topics that will be tackled in ‘Francis and The Godfather’.

The filming of the movie is yet to be announced.
