It is tough for Jennifer Aniston’s fans to imagine her do anything apart from acting. However, she opened up in a recent podcast about when she was contemplating leaving acting. So, what would she have done if not acting?

Jen appeared in one of the episodes of the podcast called SmartLess along with its co-hosts Will Arnett, Sean Hayes, and Jason Bateman. She spoke to them about a highly-demanding project that made her contemplate whether she should permanently quit showbiz or not.

When one of the hosts asked her if she ever thought of leaving the acting business, the actress mentioned that the thought had crossed her mind in the last couple of years.

Although she did not divulge many details about what the role was that almost made her think about leaving her profession, she referred to it as an “unprepared project.” Jen thought it was not something, which interested or stimulated her.

Fortunately for her fans, she did not allow those emotions to make her quit the showbiz industry. She went on to appear on The Morning Show which fetched a SAG Awards and Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.

So, what would Jen have done if she had gone ahead with her decision to quit acting? She had an ideal profession in mind, a passion she thoroughly enjoys.

The Friends alum said that she would love to have been an interior designer. She loves designing and finds it to be her “happy place.”

Jennifer Aniston had also spoken about her alternate choice in a career in the past. She noted in an interview given in 2011 about how passionate she was about designing.

She had clearly said then that had she not been an actor, she would have become an interior designer. She loves watching or observing a house and starts visualizing how it would look after getting it restored or remodeled.

The actress also disclosed that she spent plenty of time decorating the house where she lives now and thinks it is beautiful. She also revealed how proud she is of her home.

Aniston’s impressive resume has a lot of popular films. When she was asked what had been her favorite performance. Jen ranked her role in Friends at the top, which was not surprising coming from her.

Jen is also fond of her 2011 film Just Go With It, where Adam Sandler was her co-star. She also mentioned that her 2014 movie Cake was a major highlight in her career.

Jennifer Aniston found that the experience of acting in that film was “creatively fulfilling” for her. She feels she did not do too bad in it, Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports.
