James Van Der Beek left his house with his family as he moves to Texas for new adventures. The Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 star and his wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek broke the news on Sept. 30 that they are leaving their Los Angeles house with their children.

The 43-year-old actor posted a picture of himself along with his five children, Gwendolyn, two-year-old, Emilia, four-year-old, Annabel, six-year-old, Joshua, eight-year-old, and Olivia, who is ten-year-old. The picture showcased the entire family in an empty house as they left it with many memories.

Der Beek wrote alongside the picture that sometimes to begin a new life, one has to start with an empty home first. The actor further wrote that he is leaving the current house being extremely grateful to all his friends and the moments they have spent in the house.

However, the actor concluded the caption and wrote that the family is going to start a new adventure, which is going to be bigger. Kimberly also took social media to reveal that they are leaving their Beverly Hills house and moving to Texas.

She further disclosed that the couple took a road trip along with their five kids that were a ten-day-long journey to reach their new home. Interestingly, the family rescued two pups and adopted them on the way and they will join the family in a new house.

The couple named the pups Windsor and Able. The couple posted a picture of their daughter bonding with the little one as she holds both the puppies in her arms. Kimberly posted some cute pictures of the newly adopted pups playing around with children and her husband.

"We will document this trip in hopes that it can bring a smile to your face during such an uncertain time in the world. With love from our family to yours, thank you for your support on this journey," she wrote while concluding the caption.

During The Make Down podcast, the star wife already revealed her plans to leave the current house and move outside Austin. She said that this is the correct time to bring children close to nature while she agreed that Los Angeles has been great for her personally.

She recalled how much life she has spent her and the memories she built. However, Kimberly said that it will take a while to process every important event that took place such as giving birth to her three children.
