Prince Philip and Meghan Markle’s relationship was not at all remarkable. With Meghan’s entrance to the royal institution quick and swift, it is no wonder Prince Philip does not think highly of the Duchess’ work and ability.

A new book by royal biographer Ingrid Seward reveals that the Duke of Edinburg was ‘very, very disappointed’ at Meghan Markle.

Ms. Seward who is releasing a royal biography about Prince Philip and his work in the royal firm, from his younger years up to his retirement exposes the many dismays the Duke has with the new generation of royal.

According to Ms. Seward Prince Philip does not understand why Meghan could not give up her life upon joining the royal family and why she did not follow his example.

She also revealed that Prince Philip was ‘irritated’ on why Meghan Markle could not support Harry and the royal family and rather wanted her voice to be heard out.

There were rumors as well that during the Sandringham Summit, attended by the Queen, Prince Charles, and Prince William, the Duke of Edinburgh did not want to get involved.

Insiders believe that Prince Philip was against the exit of Harry and Meghan from the royal family and did not see any sense in joining the other senior royals.

“Of course, it irritates him hugely. And when they had the Sandringham Summit, Prince Philip was seen leaving the house very swiftly before they all arrived,” Ms. Seward said.

Prince Philip upon marrying Queen Elizabeth II had a Naval career, which he immediately gave up to support Queen Elizabeth in her reign.

Ms. Seward’s book also exposed Prince Philip’s feelings towards the younger generation of royal, especially that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Prince Philip is, reportedly, disappointed at Harry for giving up his royal life to be in a self-centered celebrity world and found it hard to understand why Harry would give up his life when he had it all going for him.

Prince Philip stepped down from his royal duties last 2017 at the age of 94. As one of the longest-serving senior royals in the British Monarchy, it was very sad to see the Duke of Edinburgh leave.

The Duke has been staying in Wood Farm, an estate he bought from a long time ago, and where he has been spending most of his retirement years.

Many of the Duke’s patronages and titles are being carried out by his children and other royal members.
