Company 8 will investigate Hajima Industries in Fire Force Season 2, Episode 14. The new episode is called The Ashen Reaper.

The official preview trailer for Fire Force Season 2, Episode 14 has been released post-episode 13’s broadcast. The newly-released trailer unveils a new character who appears to be extremely dangerous. And it appears that Shinra is connected to this man.

“The 8th ends up investigating Hajima Industries. The suspicious facility they make their way inside has a patently dangerous-looking man. Huh? Shinra-san, you know this man? I am ridiculously powerful against the weak. Next time on Fire Force Season 2, Episode 14, The Ashen Reaper,” reads the preview text from the trailer.

In the last episode of Fire Force Season 2, Leonard Burns faces the Joker. However, Captain Shinmon arrives and announces that he wants to be a part of the fight. Burns states that it is not time for them to be fighting.

Joker wonders why did Burns come if he doesn’t want to battle. Burns reveals that he has come to give them leads regarding the scriptures.

Burns was a liaison between the Holy Sol Temple’s public and private faces. Joker adds the Burns used to look after him when he was a part of the Holy Sol Temple.

There is a flashback scene wherein Joker asks Burns if there is human combustion still happening in the outside world. Burns confirms that Infernals are still popping up and it is dangerous both on the surface and in the Nether.  

He adds that the world is filled with sorrow and it seeks the salvation of Sol. However, Joker questions if praying would be of any help. Joker states that he is not relying on anything or seeking salvation.

Fire Force Season 2 Episode 14 is slated to hit the airwaves on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020. The episodes are currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
