Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck sparked rumors that they planned on getting back together recently.

According to Star, Garner decided to call it quits with John Miller because she and Affleck realized that they were meant to be together.

A source told the tabloid that the 13 Going On 30 star expressed how much she misses her ex-husband. And she has also been telling friends that her family life is unlike anything it was before because Affleck was no longer around.

However, just before Garner and Affleck reconciled, the Peppermint star, allegedly, had a change of heart. Gossip Cop pointed out that if Garner and Affleck were talking about getting back together, it is unlikely for the actress to suddenly have a change of heart.

The tabloid’s also claimed that it was Affleck’s addiction that made Garner rethink her decision to get back together with him. Garner and Affleck have known each other for years, and the exes were together while Affleck was battling with his addiction.

It is unlikely for Affleck’s sobriety to have been the reason behind Garner having a change of heart. After all, she was with Affleck through it all.

Gossip Cop also said it’s unlikely for Garner and Affleck to have even considered getting back together because they have already moved on from each other. The rumor-debunking site also spoke with a rep for the actor and was told the tabloid’s rumors are untrue.

Garner didn’t also call it quits with Miller last year. The exes only split weeks ago, and Affleck didn’t have anything to do with it. After all, Affleck is already dating his Deep Water co-star, Ana de Armas.

Earlier this year, Affleck told The New York Times that one of his biggest regrets is his split from Garner. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that he wanted to get back together with his ex-wife.

“The biggest regret of my life is this divorce. Shame is really toxic. There is no positive byproduct of shame. It’s just stewing in a toxic, hideous feeling of low self-worth and self-loathing,” the source said.

Today, Affleck and Garner have an amicable relationship with each other. They also co-parent their three kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. However, they have no plans to get back together.
