A series of reports have suggested that the Duchess of Sussex may want to become of the Head of the United States, if not now then soon. Meghan Markle, who is popularly known for her charitable efforts, has garnered wide attention for her social approach and public speaking on important topics that concern America very well.

The Duchess may not have any political feat in her resume, but she is definitely a watcher of politics who has had some interactions with the political world. Before she joined the royal clan of the United Kingdom, Meghan Markle publicly criticized President Donald Trump for his loose approach on gender issues.

Tuesday night as Donald Trump was busy ripping his presidential opponent Joe Biden in Pittsburg, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry were involved in a social cause of urging Americans to vote in the upcoming US Presidential election. That is what prompted bookmakers to state that it is possible for Meghan to run for President in 2024.

As per a new report from Betfair, the odds of the Duchess of Sussex running for office in the 2024 presidential election have been slashed down to 20/1 from 66/1.

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said:

“Meghan Markle’s likelihood of running for President in 2024 has dramatically improved from 66/1 to 20/1 following her latest comments on the US election. Since dropping her royal duties in January, the Duchess has shown she’s not afraid to intervene in US politics - despite it being controversial. Even though she’s a 500/1 shot to win in 2024, this is just another example of Meghan potentially building her political profile for if she’s to run in the future.”

Last month a piece of news emerged according to which if it happens, Meghan Markle won’t be the only woman to be the running for President. Her opponent may be the sitting President’s politically active daughter Ivanka Trump. The report also suggested that the odds of Ivanka bringing home the bacon over Meghan were higher.

Ivanka Trump has been one of the most active individuals behind President Trump. Although she has previously said that she doesn’t have an interest in politics, it should not surprise anyone if she gets in the political arena to lock horns with the Duchess of Sussex.

But before we reach there, it’s about Trump and Biden – the competition is nip and tuck and nothing can be said. For Ivanka to have a smooth way to the next presidential election, it's instrumental that her father wins this time.
