The coronavirus pandemic shuttered businesses around the world, leaving people with no choice but to quarantine with their family. While a lot of people complained about not being able to go out freely as before, optimistic people like Gwen Stefani ensured she used her time to accommodate all possible special family moments while being holed up with her children and boyfriend Blake Shelton at the country singer's ranch.

The newest season of The Voice is slated to kick off next month. Judges of NBC's hit singing competition television series, including Stefani, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Shelton opened up about their quarantine experience. In a clip released by the show on Sept. 21, Stefani says that the quarantine was nothing short of magical for the kids, her, and Blake because they never get a chance to spend so much time together.

"We did do a lot of fun stuff. We did a lot of cooking," the "Don't Speak" singer revealed. Jumping on a trend that swept the United State during the initial stage of the pandemic, Stefani learned how to make sourdough bread like everybody else.

She took months to get the starter right but also did a lot of other stuff during the quarantine. Stefani said they built a garden, planted zinnias, and thousands of zinnia flowers. The 50-year-old songstress said they did a lot of stuff that they would normally only dream about doing but never have time to do.

They also had a lot of jam to spread on her sourdough bread, Shelton said they have about six or eight peach trees on his ranch in Oklahoma, so they decided to do something new. During these unprecedented times of a global pandemic, they were left with nothing else to do, so they decided to go online and learn how to make jam.

In the clip, Shelton says there were a lot of peaches, and they made cases of peach jam. Admitting that he will never do it again, Shelton said now he knows how to make jam.

In addition to making jam, Stefani took time out to help Shelton bring his mullet haircut back, and even joined him for the duet “Happy Anywhere," which they performed at the Academy of Country Music Awards last week. Stefani's children with ex Gavin Rossdale cheered a win for Team Blake on The Voice in May.

Legend also shared that he and his wife Chrissy Teigen had a nice quarantine surprise, learning that Teigen was expecting their third child, whom she accidentally revealed will be a boy in Instagram Stories. Aside from that, Legend spent his time promoting his new album and chasing around his two toddlers with his wife.
