The James Bond film franchise has been a legendary movie franchise both in the US and in the UK. The story originates from the United Kingdom but has seen unparalleled success in America and across the globe. Numerous James Bond actors have made iconic films for the franchise and the franchise itself has made many James Bond actors iconic.

The latest James Bond film, ‘No Time To Die’, which stars actor Daniel Craig as the M16 agent will be coming to theaters sooner than expected.

But the biggest question is who will replace Daniel Craig as James Bond?

Craig who has revealed that he will no longer be playing James Bond after five movies has greatly saddened fans of the movie franchise. Several bets for the next James Bond has been made, with one name being clearly favored.

Actor, Tom Hardy has been the biggest bet of bookies to become James Bond in the next movies for the franchise. There have been heavy names dropped but Tom Hardy has been the best amongst them.

It is said that after the ‘Venom’ star did a stellar audition on the role, he immediately got a callback. Hardy has been asked about these rumors, whether he will play as James Bond in the next film, the actor has not said yes or no, rather he just dismissed it.

Tom who has explained back then that he looks forward to someday play the legendary agent has kept quiet on the issue.

Other actors who are vying for the role are James Norton, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba and even soccer star David Beckham.

There is only one actor that could topple Tom Hardy for the role. With the recent lack of diversity in the movie industry, rumors of Henry Golding taking over as James Bond has also been up in the air.

Henry is Malaysian and has his fair share of becoming a leading man for multiple movies. He has been Hollywood’s number one heartthrob for some time now. The possibility of an Asian James Bond is high up on the pedestal. Golding was asked regarding this issue, in which his answer was, whoever will be chosen, he will support it either way.

‘No Time To Die’ will follow Bond (Daniel Craig) come out of his retirement after his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) calls for his aide.

The movie will be released two weeks earlier than proposed on Nov. 12 in the UK and Nov. 20 in the US.
