Captain Burns arrive out of nowhere in the upcoming episode of the series. Fire Force Season 2 Episode 13 showcases Joker might face Captain Burns.

The official preview trailer for Fire Force Season 2 Episode 13 is out and it teases a Captain Burns and Joker’s faceoff.

“Captain Burns of the 1st arrives out of nowhere. But Joker seems to have already known he was there. What truth about their relationship will now be revealed? I am curious as well. In Episode 12 of Fire Force Season 2, Joker and Benimaru Shinmon, who is the captain of Special Fire Force Company 7, go into the core of the Holy Sol temple.

Joker tells Shinmon that they need to hurry up and find the scriptures before someone comes to stop them.

Just when they reach the core facility, the power turns off alerting them of something unusual.

The duo is confronted by the Holy Sol’s Shadows. Joker was a member of the shadows himself. He reveals the Holy Sol’s Shadows is the secret assassination team made by the Holy Sol Temple.

One of the Shadows’ member warns Shinmon and Joker that the holy ground is no place for profane masses like them to set foot in. Joker reminds the Shadow member the number – 52.

There is a brief flashback about Joker was brainwashed into joining the forces of the Holy Sol Temple. He was trained to be an assassin. He recalls that he was called 52 by his team leader.

Fire Force Season 2 Episode 13 is slated to hit the airwaves on Friday, Sept. 25, 2020. The episodes are currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
