Meghan Markle, allegedly, craved for healthy snacks during the final days of her pregnancy with son, Archie.

In the book Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand revealed that Markle’s friends visited her at Frogmore Cottage on the final days of her pregnancy. Her mom, Doria Ragland was also with her at home.

“Meghan's spirits were buoyed by the visits of close friends, including Daniel, who arrived at the cottage on April 6 to find Meghan's incredibly calm and just enjoying the last days of her bump.' Harry and Meghan cooked for the makeup artist - with Harry doing most of the work in the kitchen. ‘There was no nervousness, and she and Harry seemed so happy at the new house'”, he said.

Markle’s mom arrived at Frogmore Cottage on April 16, and she stayed in the United Kingdom until her daughter gave birth. Originally, Markle’s due date was scheduled for April 28, but she gave birth to her son on May 6.

“While it was a comfort to have her mum with her, Harry was constantly looking after his wife as well, making sure she was physically comfortable and getting her snacks. Guacamole and crudités were as close as she got to junk food. Not because she doesn't like it; she just didn't crave it,” the authors said.

According to Express, crudites are a traditional French appetizer that consists of sliced or whole raw vegetables that are dipped in a vinaigrette or other types of dipping sauce. Some examples include celery sticks, carrot sticks, broccoli, bell pepper strips, and more.

Meanwhile, Markle also made headlines this week after it was revealed that her son usually interrupts her and Prince Harry’s Zoom calls.

On the Heir Pod podcast, Scobie said that Archie has been making sure that he doesn’t get left out during his parents’ Zoom meetings.

“I loved discovering their daily Zoom calls with the various initiatives and people that they work with. And how Archie is no stranger to climbing in front of the web camera and making little impromptu cameos,” he said.

Prince Harry also recently revealed that he wants Archie to take some rugby lessons while he’s still young. Unfortunately, he can’t seem to find classes in the United States because of the deadly coronavirus.

“What I need is a few mini rugby balls that I can then get Archie involved with the game because at the moment it’s impossible to find any. But I’ve got a little bit of space outside which we’re fortunate enough to have, so I need to get him playing some rugby league,” he said.
