Prince Harry allegedly made a huge purchase in Australia as a tribute to his late mother, Princess Diana.

According to Woman’s Day, the continent has a special place in Prince Harry’s heart. Growing up, the Princess of Wales took him and Prince William to the Mollymook beach house.

A source told the tabloid that now that Prince Harry is all grown up, he’s searching for the exact same beach house so he could turn into his very own hideaway.

“Harry has a soft spot for Australia and given that his mom spent such precious private time here, it’s no surprise he’d feel a calling to it and will want to search out what sounds like was once his mom’s spiritual home,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Meghan Markle was shocked when she learned about Prince Harry’s plans.

“And she wasn’t impressed that he went behind her back and did it – but she too would love to get her hands on something that was Diana’s… even if it makes William furious,” the source said.

In the book Diana: The Intimate Portrait, Australian royal expert Judy Wade talked about Princess Diana and her mom, Frances Shand Kydd’s time in Australia.

“Frances rented a beach house tucked away among tall gum trees overlooking the beach. It’s a modern, dark-stained timber beach house situated at the end of a winding dirt track, which made it invisible from the road,” she said.

While there, Princess Diana went surfing, swimming, and soul-searching by herself. And she particularly enjoyed the spot because it was secluded.

However, even though Princess Diana adored the Australian hideaway, this doesn’t mean that Prince Harry wants to buy the beach house in memory of his late mother.

The tabloid’s claims are just a mumbo jumbo of statements that are unfounded. For instance, they claimed that Prince Harry is still looking for a beach house. But the tabloid also claimed that Markle was shocked that Prince Harry decided to buy the property.

According to the tabloid, Markle wasn’t happy that Prince Harry went behind her back. But she’s also allegedly thrilled because she wants to get her hands on something that was Princess Diana’s.

To say that the beach house was Princess Diana’s suggests that she owned the property when she didn’t. As such, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt.
