The Royal family has been around for centuries, the world has seen the rise and fall of the British monarchy, their influence has reached many countries. Due to the rich history of the British Monarchy, it is best to believe that within the walls of the many Palaces and estates, there are certain laws and rules that the royals abide by, and many of this is how they present themselves to the public.

Harry and Meghan’s decision to leave the Royal institution was a plan the two hatched not long after they were married. Rumors of the couple having a strained relationship with the other members of the family were circulating.

Many believe that Meghan’s attitude and her ‘dynamism’ were not well accepted within the palace doors. But Harry loved Meghan’s fiery and unconventional way of approaching things.

Omid Scobie, one of the authors of ‘Finding Freedom’ revealed in his podcast how Meghan’s different views and actions were unaccepted by the royal family.

"There’s no more pragmatic family than the royal family. I think they are capable of having positive and healthy relationships with anyone. But as we’ve seen, this wasn’t necessarily about relationships between royal family members and Meghan, this was about the institution of the monarchy and how they supported Meghan. I think had Meghan have come in and done everything by the book rather than ever come up with her own ideas or challenge a way of working or bringing in her own ideas, than it may have been very different”, Mr. Scobie shared to his listeners.

Meghan was also rumored to have let go of some words that described the royal family as ‘backwards’ and an institution that is too old for this time.

The Duchess’ way of doing things is more hands-on than the Royal family would want their members to do. As an activist and a firm believer of ‘action speaks louder than words’, this initially attracted Harry’s unconventional approach to things as well. But this did not go down well with the royal family.

Harry and Meghan’s exit from the royal family sparked fury from the many loyal royal fans, but the two who now live in America, have only thrived since their exit.

Both couples signed a ‘megawatt’ deal with Netflix that will give them more room and freedom to relay important messages to a worldwide audience.

The Sussex’ is aiming to spread awareness through their Netflix deal and to bring pride to their own little family and the royal family.
