Johnny Depp is reportedly dating his much younger girlfriend, Sophie Hermann.

According to The News, the Pirates of the Caribbean star is following in the footsteps of Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck. The two A-listers are dating much younger women.

Earlier this year, Affleck made his relationship with Ana de Armas Instagram official. And just last month, Pitt stepped out in public with his model girlfriend, Nicole Poturlaski.

Depp and Hermann reportedly grew closer to each other after they first hung out at The Corinthia Hotel in London earlier this year. According to the publication, Depp and Hermann have also talked to each other on the phone after the Made In Chelsea star gave Depp her number.

“Sophie left her phone number on a piece of paper and slid it between the strings of his guitar,” a source said.

But unlike Pitt and Affleck, Depp and Hermann have not yet been photographed together in public. The Edward Scissorhands star is still busy with his ongoing court battle against his ex-wife Amber Heard and The Sun.

According to sources, the judge’s ruling on the case will be revealed in the coming months. And before the year ends, Depp will come face to face with Heard in court after he filed a defamation case against the Aquaman star.

Meanwhile, Depp also made headlines this week amid claims that he could drop his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean to join Marvel.

According to We Got This Covered, Depp is a huge fan of Ghost Rider. And there are claims that Marvel head Kevin Feige is looking to reboot the franchise.

And since Feige is most likely aware that Depp is a huge fan of Ghost Rider, he could reportedly tap him to star in the reboot. However, it is unlikely for Depp to play the lead role in the franchise. Rather, he could reportedly play the role of the villain, Bounty Hunter.

However, it is important to note that the Ghost Rider reboot hasn’t been confirmed yet. And it is unclear if the series will ever receive the green light. There isn’t any confirmation either that Depp will permanently bid his Pirates of the Caribbean character goodbye.

But Disney previously removed him from the franchise after Heard accused him of domestic violence.
