The Top Chef host celebrated her 50th birthday in style, sharing a slew of beach day pictures on her Twitter account. The photos show her donning a pink bikini, as she enjoys a day out by the ocean and in the sun.

Lakshmi paired her appealing pink bikini with dark sunglasses while stepping into the water and confidently posing for a picture. “50 is the new 30, feel like I’m just getting started,” she captioned her pictures.

The Top Chef host also shared twp pictures on her Instagram account, accompanied by a powerful message about the events that took place in this past year. In the first photo, she is seen holding a starfish and standing on the beach, sporting a colorful two-piece.

Looking at the ocean animal while standing at the water's edge, the Hulu star looked stunning. The other snap shows her playing around in the pool with 10-year-old daughter Krishna, who she shares with partner Adam Dell.

In the picture, Padma can be seen raising her arm high up into the air as she looks at her daughter, Krishna, who stood upon Dell. Her lengthy caption shows the mixed emotions she has been experiencing this past year amid the deadly coronavirus pandemic, Daily Mail reported.

As expected, her pictures garnered a lot of compliments from her social media followers and fans. While most of her followers commented about how beautiful she looked in the pictures, one follower appreciated her efforts to make the world better using her voice and power, adding that she is a beautiful woman both inside and out.

Taking to the caption section of the photo, Padma acknowledged how painful 2020 has been for a lot of people, adding that she has been fortunate. Starting the caption with a cloud emoji, she went on to describe this year as a blend of "misery and elation."

She noted that the plague tightened its grip on people across the globe in Mar., saying they were lucky but some people weren't. She felt like the world is headed straight to impending doom, and anxiety that she couldn't get rid of.

Padma also referenced the death of Black people in her posts, noting that it was good that everyone rose against the racial injustice. She said things at her home were peaceful as she and her family made a cocoon for themselves, and they became closer.

She is currently working on her first picture book entitled, "Tomatoes for Neela." The book revolves around a little girl who likes to cook. The book will be made available to the public in fall 2021.
