The new episode will have its spotlight on Hana Uzaki’s mother, Tsuki. Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! Episode 9 is titled Tsuki Uzaki Wants A Thrill.

The official website of the anime has released spoiler photos and synopsis for Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! Episode 9.

According to the synopsis, Sakurai visits Hana’s house to return the money. At her apartment, he meets Tsuki, Hana’s mother and she is terrified to look into Sakurai’s eyes.

With her mother around, Hana will have to change her ways. Can she resume to being the old Hana around her mother? It will be interesting to see the trio hanging out together.

In the last Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! episode, Hana apologizes to Sakurai for all the trouble she gave her the other day. Sakurai tells her to forget it as too much alcohol was involved in the business.

She hands over an envelope with cash and offers it to him. She tells him she has not yet been paid from work and this is from her mother Tsuki.

Sakurai is embarrassed as the drama is unfolding in public view and bystanders believe Sakurai has cheated on Hana and even asking for money.

Hana continues to embarrass him and forces him to take her money and accept her apology. The bystanders now believe he might be a member of the infamous Yakuza gang.

Later, in the episode, Sakurai tells his café mates about the incident at the bar on Hana’s birthday. He reveals she wanted to celebrate her birthday by drinking alcohol with him.

He admits that they drank a little too much for them to handle. Later they miss the last train and since they both were tipsy. Long story short, she wound up spending the night at his place. And Hana thinks she has done something unforgivable. It will interesting to see how they patch in the forthcoming episodes.

Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! episodes air every Friday. The episodes are streaming on Funimation. The instalments are available in Japanese with English subtitles.
