Erina might be facing a harder task compared to other participants in the competition. In Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 9, things are getting difficult and the mystery around the BLUE Tournament is slowly revealing itself.

The official website has unveiled the synopsis for Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 9 named The God’s Tongue Despair.

According to the synopsis, Soma finds out that Erina is given a task that is harsher than the others. Soma raises his voice against this and meets the organizers and share his displeasure. However, they learn a shocking truth. She is up against a powerful opponent in Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 9. The must-win cooking battles begin.

In the last episode of Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, the participants get ready for the team battle. Don Calma, who is one of the underground chefs is up against Takumi Aldini.

The chefs have to register their team members and they need to work as a team to win the battle. Takumi appoints his younger brother – Isami Aldini as his team member.

However, Don Calma shocks him when he tells him that he wonders if Isami will arrive on time for the competition. It turns out Don Calma’s gang members have picked up Isami and he is now in an undisclosed facility, probably owned by Don Calma.

Later, in the episode, Soma steps up and decides to help out Takumi and assist him in the competition. However, Don Calma protests to the Bookmaster and tries to disqualify Takumi.

Episode 9 of Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5 is directed by Yoshiyuki Nogami. The scripting of the episode is by Shogo Yasukawa and storyboard by Iku Suzuki. Masakazu Yamazaki and Tomoyuki Shitaya are the chief animation directors.
