Artem Chigvintsev opened up about his initial reaction to welcoming his baby boy in the world and deemed it as experience that he would love to relive every single day. The 38-year-old professional dancer welcomed his first child with fiance Nikki Bella about three weeks ago.

"Oh, I was sobbing, like, so bad when our baby arrived," Chigvintsev told Entertainment Tonight earlier this week while describing the emotion he experienced when his newborn son with the former WWE Divas Champion arrived. Chigvintsev claims he cried in a way men usually do not sob like, adding that his sobbing was awful, but in the most joyful way.

The pro dancer who specializes in Latin dancing said as he was picking the baby up, the baby opened his eyes halfway and that felt like the most incredible thing. He compared the experience of holding his baby for the first time, to the miracle that people talk about.

Chigvintsev and Nikki, 36, welcomed their first child together on July 31, just a day before her twin sister Brie Bella welcomed her second child, also a baby boy, with WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan. The 36-year-old Total Bellas star shares daughter Birdie, 3, with Bryan.

Taking to her Instagram account earlier this month, Nikki shared a picture of her, and Chigvintsev holding their son's hand. Chigvintsev posted the same picture to his Instagram account, and captioned it "7/31/2020 please welcome our precious baby boy Chigvintsev   proud of my love @thenikkibella."

Nikki and Chigvintsev met back in 2017 on the set of Dancing With the Stars season 25. Nikki canceled her engagement to WWE Superstar John Cena two years ago, and in Jan. 2019, reports about her dating Russian-born star began doing the rounds online.

Chigvintsev proposed to his former dance partner in Nov. last year. Two months later, the professional wrestler revealed that they were expecting their first child. As a first-time mother, Nikki announced that she'd be focusing more on herself.

Making her appearance on The Bellas Podcast on Aug. 5, just a few days after giving birth to her son, Nikki said she would be putting her son first and focus more on what's best for him. She said her focus would be on learning about vaccines, schools, which will help his son grow and keep him safe.

In a bid to ensure she stays a happy, healthy mom, Nikki said she will be making "me time" and focus on her well-being and happiness as well. The former WWE wrestler said she wants to get her body back in a healthy way and will be continuing meditation just like she has been doing during her pregnancy.
