Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding DJ, Fat Tony recently weighed in on the couple’s decision to quit The Firm.

While speaking with Mirror UK, Fat Tony said that no one really knows why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit the royal family. However, they seem happier with their new life in the United States and this is what’s important.

“It’s typical of the way we are in this country – we build people up and then try to destroy them. God forbid, they wanted to live their own life. I think it’s human nature to be jealous. We shoot things down that we don’t understand. And with Harry and Meghan, nobody understands what went on – it’s all speculation and they’ve never discussed it. So, it’s, ‘let’s hate them,’” he said.

Fat Tony also said that there’s always the option to stop doing things that don’t make people happy. And this is what Prince Harry and Markle decided to do.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle made headlines this week amid claims that Piers Morgan’s demand to have the latter stripped off her title won’t happen unless Prince Harry’s title is also revoked.

While speaking with Express, constitutional expert Iain MacMarthanne acknowledged the fact that members of the royal family should be politically neutral.

“Like all conventions, there is much flexibility as to what is, and what is not, acceptable territory to become involved in, and the further away any royal is from succeeding to the crown the greater the latitude given,” he said.

But he also called the demands to have Markle’s royal title removed “easier said than done.”

“There has become a fashion of late that anyone who oversteps a subjective mark, and who holds a title, should be stripped of it. Easier said than done,” the source said.

Markle earned her royal title because her husband was born as a royal. And since she didn’t break any laws by encouraging female voters in the United States to take part in the elections, it’s unlikely for her royal title to be revoked.

Following her and Prince Harry’s Megxit, Queen Elizabeth decided to remove the couple’s HRH titles. However, they weren’t stripped of their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.

“In effect, there is nothing to strip from her, she is at liberty not to use these titles and could, should she prefer, be known by her pre-marital name,” he said.
