Uzaki turned 20 and things are going to go up a notch for her and Sakurai. The new episode of the anime revolves around fireworks. Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! Episode 8 is titled I Want to Watch Fireworks Together!

In Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! Episode 7, Shinichi Sakurai calls Hana Uzaki and asks if she can be with him as he needs her. Uzaki is surprised and when she meets him, he tells her that he wants to visit the cat café. As it is his first time, he doesn’t wish to experience it alone.

Later, they hang out in the cat café and Uzaki observes how Sakurai can be creepy around cats and animals in general. Sakurai, who considers himself an introvert, connects with animals, especially cats.

Meanwhile, Sakurai owes one to Uzaki and she wants him to make her birthday special. Sakurai can’t think of a present for her. However, his boss from the café thinks that anything that Sakurai will gift her, she would be happy with it.

He is advised that he should follow his intentions and the first thing that comes to his mind will be her gift. On the day of her birthday, she asks him if he can be with her as she needs him. Turns out she wants to spend the day with him in the pub. He asks Uzaki if she wants to celebrate the milestone at a pub. She reveals she wants to try drinking with him. He tells him drinking can be fun, but it depends on the drinker and the circumstances. On that day, she tries her first drink and it burns her throat. The days turn out to be rollercoaster for the duo.

During Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! Episode 7, Uzaki tells Sakurai that her birthday is coming and since she is turning 20, she wants to make it special.

Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! episodes hit the airwaves every Friday. The episodes are available for online viewing on Funimation. The episodes are currently streaming in Japanese with English subtitles.

The cast of Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! includes Kenji Akabane as Shinichi Sakurai, Naomi Ozora as Hana Uzaki, Ayana Taketatsu as Ami Asai, Saori Hayami as Tsuki Uzaki, Tomoya Takagi as Itsuhito Sakaki and Yousuke Akimoto as Master.
