However, things turn bad for the heroes after an unsuspected attack. Fire Force Season 2, Episode 9 is titled The Core.

The official preview trailer for Fire Force Season 2, Episode 9 hints that Arthur and the others, who are exploring the insides of the Tabernacle, reach the central core of the aged facility.

However, things get weird when they hear sounds pulsating from the core of the Tabernacle. The team notes that the sounds coming out from the core are somewhat scary. They wonder if there is something alive in the core.

“Arthur-san and the others inside the Tabernacle arrive at last at the central core. There, they hear an eerie pulse echoing. This sound is a little bit scary. Is there something alive inside?” reads the preview for Fire Force Season 2, Episode 9.

In the previous episode, Shinra and his team and Scop and other animals reach the Tabernacle. Scop tells them about a mysterious woman who appeared after the Great War that destroyed everything. Scop remembers how she helped the animals and gave them a voice and build an oasis for them. He adds that the Tabernacle is sacred and they need to protect it and the forest.

But they are startled when Infernals ambush them. Shockingly, the Infernals can speak. Finally, Shinra and the others encounter their worst nightmare in the form of a Demon Infernal.

Shinra knows they cannot beat a Demon Infernal. However, they have no choice but to fight him and his evil Infernal force. It will be interesting to see how Shinra and his comrades fight the battle and come out victorious.
