Actress Angelina Jolie made an adorable remark about her daughter Shiloh in a recent interview. She acknowledged her daughter’s influence in her role in the movie titled The One and Only Ivan

Indeed, Angie does not like to share her personal life with her fans and admirers. However, this week, the actress spoke about the deep bond she shared with her 14-year-old daughter Shiloh.

The Salt actress was discussing her latest film titled The One and Only Ivan in the interview. Jolie and her co-actor Brooklynn were being exclusively interviewed by Entertainment Tonight when the Hollywood actress gushed about her daughter.

The Maleficent actress told the interviewer via a video call that her daughter was the one to get her acquainted with the story years ago. Shiloh had told her mom about how she had loved reading a book and wanted the actress to read it too.

The actress appeared for a virtual interview with the publication and looked stunning as always in a black dress. She also opened up about how she and her daughter sat together and discussed the book at length. They also got to talk about why the teenager loved the story so much.

The film is based on a book by K.A. Applegate with the same title. The story is based on the real tale of a gorilla called Ivan. Ivan was caged for more than two decades and eventually picked up the skill to express his feelings through painting.

Incidentally, Angelina Jolie also happens to be one of the producers of this film. Jolie also mentioned how she always tried to go with the flow of the film and be associated with its creative and development side.

The actress admitted that her primary focus was to make sure that the film does not deviate from the book as much as possible. Angie has done the voiceover for an elephant called Stella in the film while Brooklynn has lent her voice for a stranded elephant named Ruby.

Jolie feels the story is extremely special partly because it is a real one. She also thinks it has the ability to evoke a deep emotion within all, InStyle reports.

Meanwhile, the actress has been isolating with her six kids at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Angie told an interviewer that though they are all locked in, the family is doing fine.

A source revealed to a publication in March this year that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children have been engaged with their schoolwork, playing board games, instruments, helping to prepare dinner, and learning new languages amid the self-isolation.
