The adventure on the new continent continues for Shinra and company. Fire Force Season 2, Episode 8 explores the team in the center of the forest. The new episode is titled Smoldering Malevolence.

The official Fire Force Season 2, Episode 8 preview trailer is out and it teases that Shinra and his team reach the middle of the forest.

“The Tabernacle lies in the center of the forest. It is a cherished location that once taken from Scop-san and the others. Why was something so cherished taken away from them? They came from beyond the spatial rift to once again recreate this world,” reads the preview for Fire Force Season 2, Episode 8.

Apart from the trailer, the official website has released the synopsis. According to the synopsis, Shinra and friends reach paradise after being guided by Scop-san.

Meanwhile, in the last episode, the team Fire Force reaches the new continent to investigate the Adolla Bursts.

Later, they enter the Giant Worm territory and get attacked by a massive worm-like monster. The team is headed for a spatial rift and they anticipated a harsh environment due to the Adolla Bursts. Moreover, it is a place where animals can speak human languages. They meet a mole who will guide them at the spatial rift.

Later, the mole reveals about a paradise named the Oasis. The mole calls himself Scop and decides to assist Shinra and his friends. The team decides to camp in the desert before moving forward.

Scop explains that they were driven out of the Oasis after a mysterious group showed up. The group started attacking the creatures who lived at the Oasis.

Shinra and his team also learn that several Infernals have been wandering around since the Great Cataclysm 250 years ago. It remains to be seen if the team can gather intel regarding Adolla Bursts in the upcoming episode.
