Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been slammed by their detractors after they failed to register the website for Archewell, their charitable foundation. Users are being redirected to another website when they search for this site.

The trouble for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex does not seem to get over. They were mocked by many netizens after their new charity foundation’s domain name was snapped by cyberbullies. Harry and Markle had shared the name of their upcoming venture on Monday.

However, it appears now that they made a big blunder by not registering the name of their website. This has left them vulnerable to being attacked by many hackers on the net.

When their enthusiastic followers tried to search the website for the couple’s new foundation, they were redirected to one of Kanye West’s 2005 hit YouTube video song titled “Gold Digger,” New Idea reports. A string of eagle-eyed users of social media detected the embarrassing mistake.

It is interesting to note that West himself had faced a similar fate in 2015. When the users were typing loser.com, they were being redirected to the Wikipedia entry of the rapper.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have already announced that they are looking forward to getting started with their Archewell foundation that is to replace their previous Sussex Royal brand. The Duke of Sussex and his wife are also planning to have their charity along with a website for the same.

They have explained that Arche is a Greek word, which means a source of action. The name of their upcoming charitable foundation has been inspired by the same Greek word.

However, other details about this organization have been withheld because of the coronavirus. Harry and Markle intend to make the announcement “when the time is right.”

Some people feel that the couple made their announcement at the wrong time, Daily Mail reports. Their announcement coincided with Boris Johnson, the British Prime Minister being shifted into an intensive care unit after suffering from COVID-19 for some time.

Phil Dampier, the royal biographer mentioned that the timing was appalling. He also said that had he been their place, he would have maintained a low-profile until the situation was over. Others such as Kathie Gyngell, an editor, took to Twitter and mentioned that Harry and Markle should have waited and the time of their announcement was inappropriate.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have responded to the criticisms by mentioning that their current focus is to fight the coronavirus pandemic. However, they were “compelled” to share the details of their upcoming venture.
