The news of Joe Biden’s selection of Kamala Harris as his presidential running mate was strong enough to startle President Trump. Kamla Harris is the first black woman to be chosen for the post of Vice President of America. As Harris was busy receiving praises and wishes from citizens of America, another piece of news came about that questioned her eligibility for Vice Presidency.

During the time when Biden was clearly observed taking a lead, speaking about Harris not being eligible to offer companionship to Biden was probably the most important thing for President Trump. To no surprise, Trump did so but not exactly how one would think.

In a press conference, Trump put up all he thought about reports alleging that Harris couldn’t be a candidate for VP rightfully.

When asked about it, Mr. President said that the allegations have been made by a highly qualified lawyer who knows about it better than anybody – a very talented man. Trump said it subtly but it was evident through his words that he was more inclined to believe that Harris wasn’t the right candidate to be the VP of American citizens.

Trump said that he doesn’t know if she is really qualified for the role or not but he assumes that Democrats must have checked it beforehand. He brought the media attention to what people are talking about saying that it’s a serious matter – “you’re saying that -- they are saying that she doesn’t qualify.”

One more time, due to the heat of the moment, President got a bit carried away and tried backing up his side and point of view with a wrong piece of data i.e. Kamala Harris being born outside of the US. He was immediately corrected by the reporter.

However, this time, Trump seemed calm and didn’t appear to have the intention of aiming at Harris. He talked about it like a diplomatic personality who is reputed to beat around the bushes.

In contrast, Kamala Harris has hit out at the President saying she thinks Trump is responsible for the deteriorating state of America. She called Trump a wrong choice for the Presidency. All of that has been going on for a while now.

As the election date nears, the campaigns are getting fiercer – Bide is accusing Trump of mishandling the crisis caused by the pandemic and on the other side, Trump has made allegations that Biden is entirely wrong about the coronavirus data and is just politicizing the pandemic to exploit the situation.
