Ellen DeGeneres has, allegedly, been abandoned by her friends in Hollywood amid all the criticisms that she has been receiving.

According to In Touch Weekly, DeGeneres was expecting that her close friends in the industry will defend her amid the recent allegations. However, only a few have stood by her side.

As of late, only Portia de Rossi, Diane Keaton, Ashton Kutcher, Katy Perry, and Jay Leno have shared messages of support for the comedian.

“Ellen isn’t getting the support from Hollywood that she expected. The silence is deafening. How is she supposed to face her famous guests, especially the ones who didn’t defend her, on her show from now on?” the source said.

However, Gossip Cop immediately debunked the claims. The publication said that only tabloid has been saying that DeGeneres hasn’t received the support of her friends in the industry. As such, this doesn’t mean that this is entirely the case.

While it is true that Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, and more have not publicly supported DeGeneres, it is possible for them to have already sent her messages of love and encouragement in private.

The rumor-debunking site also pointed out that DeGeneres has already been hosing Ellen Show for 17 years. As such, she has interviewed thousands of guests throughout the span of her career.

It is unlikely for DeGeneres to have concerns over how she would face her upcoming guests after the ongoing backlashes.

The publication also said that it would be impossible for every single one of DeGeneres’ friends in the industry to support her. But there are a few that already have.

This week, DeGeneres’ wife, Portia de Rossi gave another update about the comedian.

During her recent outing, reporters asked de Rossi how DeGeneres is and she said that her wife is doing fine. When asked if the comedian will return to host Ellen Show, de Rossi said “yes.”

DeGeneres has been slammed for, reportedly, being mean to her staff and other people. She was also accused of picking on her staff for no valid reason.

Last month, 10 former Ellen Show employees claimed that there’s a toxic work environment on the set of the daytime program.

DeGeneres was also slammed for not being on top of the production of Ellen Show amid claims of bullying, racism, sexual harassment, and more.
